In February, we published a KB article about the discontinuation of the MSNBC web parts in the online Web Part gallery. Of these web parts, the one that displayed weather information was one of the most popular. Bamboo Solutions, a SharePoint ISV partner since 2001, has graciously donated to the Community Kit for SharePoint project an enhanced version of the weather web part that fetches data from the MSN Weather service and displays the current time of the location. It can also accommodate multiple locations as shown below.

Lorem Ipsum est un faux texte souvent utilise pour des exemples dans des présentations, sites web en cours de création. Grâce à Word 2007, vous pouvez faire apparaitre le faux texte en entier juste en entrant =lorem() puis en appuyant sur entrer.

Vous pouvez aussi définir un nombre de ligne et/ou de paragraphes en faisant : =lorem(3,9) pour 3 paragraphes qui contiendront 9 phrases.

Bien sûr il vous suffit de valider par entrer pour le faire apparaître.

In SQL 2005 the semantic queries generated by Report Builder do not support sorting. This is not a problem in the report itself, because all sorting is defined and implemented in the report definition instead of the query. However, for parameter dropdowns there is currently no solution: if the query doesn"t sort the data, there"s no way in RDL to define the sort you want. As a result, the values in your parameter dropdowns will be scrambled.

HOWEVER, if you can stand another totally unsupported hack similar to my earlier hack for query timeouts, download the attached ZIP file, and follow the same instructions as before. This updated sample contains logic that recognizes a lookup query generated by Report Builder, and appends an ORDER BY clause to get the data back in the right order.
